    HSL5 Description:

• Fanuc Bubble Memory Replacement to 2 megabytes (5120 Meters)
  This supersedes our HSL2 and HSL3 memory units.

• Fits in Fanuc 11 and 12 (2 meg) and Fanuc 6 and 9 (512k)

• Has a Enhanced Parameter Sentry System – Backs up 512k
  (not 8k like MME) – which means that all parameters, offsets
  and basic macro programs are instantly restored.

• On-Board Mx1100 UMI enables 10BaseT Ethernet connectivity right on the HSL5
  Especially useful for remote High Speed Loader functionality.
  HSL is the fastest way to load and run a part program on a Fanuc 11 ever invented.
  (Even better than Remote Buffer Unit)

• Provides editable memory and the ability to restart very large files after a
  tool break easily.

• New Perma-Charge Battery Circuitry – allows trickle charge on   rechargeable Lithium battery for Fanuc SRAM memory.

• Ethernet access to our HSL COM4 Diagnostic header – enables many built-in Memex HSL utilities
  (like our version of Norton Disk Doctor called “DR 5” that repairs Fanuc memory and Parameter Sentry)

• COM port with power for bar code reader (COM3) & external command   handheld terminal. (COM2)

• Separate power supply for external options – especially for D-LINK’s   wireless Bridge LAN module.

If HSL functionality is ordered, the HSL5 now has built-in links to the MxBMI board – the MxBMI that monitors the control functions and can provide machine monitoring solutions, access rights to the Fanuc 11.
